Langamull Beach, Isle of Mull, Scotland

Langamull Beach, frequently described as one of the best-kept secrets in Mull, is referred to as the Mull Caribbean due to its white sand. The secluded 20-minute walk down to the beach offers stunning views to justify the trip. On a clear day, Skye and other small islands may be seen by visitors.

Tinside Lido, Plymouth, England

Tinside Lido is part of an Art Deco-style hotel that originally opened in 1935. It closed in 1992 but following a successful local campaign returned in 1998, attaining Grade II listed status.

Its poolside views are similar to Bondi Beach in Sydney, with the salt water swimming pool being an excellent place for sunbathing and swimming during the summer.

Three Cliffs Bay, Swansea, Wales

Three Cliffs Bay is a thirty-minute drive from Swansea and features a stunning shoreline of salt marshes, sand dunes and the three limestone cliff, which is the signature of the bay. A photogenic area of Gower Coast Path, it is the perfect spot for picnics and also very popular for cottage retreats, glamping, and caravanning.

Portmeirion Village, Gwynedd, Wales

Portmeirion was designed by Sir Clough William-Ellis in Italian village style and built from 1925 through 1975 and is one of Wales’ most unique villages.

Although Portmeirion might be in Gwynedd, North Wales instead of the Mediterranean, it still attracts tons of visitors due to its fine restaurants, boutique hotels, and scenic beauty.

In the meantime, the annual art and music event called Festival N°6 has been held every year since 2012. Performers have included Hot Chip, James Blake, and the Liverpool Philharmonic.

Barafundle Bay, Pembrokeshire, Wales

Barafundle Bay is located in Pembrokeshire close to the village of Stackpole is nestled in between the cliffs and very reminiscent to a Greek island’s secluded bay.

Formerly owned by Stackpole Court’s Cawdor family, the beach is open to the general public now and made the list previously of the world’s top 12 beaches, while it was named Britain’s best beach by the Good Holiday Guide.

With pine trees and sand dunes, the beach can be accessed via a half-mile walk from the closest car park. It offers a scenic, secluded retreat from all of the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.

West Bay, with its gorgeous clear waters and towering orange cliffs is very reminiscent of the Algarve.

Kynance Cove, Cornwall, England

There are also three beaches here: Castle, South and North. South beach features a nearly two-mile span of golden sand, Castle has stunning views, and North is a very popular area for water sports.
